On Friday 27th August at Borderway, Harrison & Hetherington held their late August Sheep Fair of breeding sheep. An excellent entry was submitted to a very large attendance of customers. Brisk bidding resulted with all classes of sheep selling at extreme rates in keeping with prices seen at previous sales at this centre. [report]
On Friday 27th August Harrison & Hetherington held the annual production sale of 100 Texel cross, Dutch Texel cross and Beltex cross shearling rams together with 120 gimmers and 83 ewe lambs on behalf of Thomas and James Whiteford of Tercrosset Farm, West Hall, Brampton. [report]

five-year-old Limousin cow Greenwell Amy sold at 23,000gns and led a
cracking trade at the Dispersal Sale of the noted Greenwell Pedigree
Herd of Messrs JT&J Nattress & Son, on Friday 20th August.
