HOLSTEIN CELEBRATION FOR BRANCHAL
On the 19th August, there will be a very special Holstein Celebration. It comes
in the form of a sale; however this sale has one major difference. It is for
James and Maureen Telfer owners of the Branchal herd of pedigree Holstein Friesian
cattle who will be selling fifty freshly calved heifers from their much admired
herd. What is so unique about this sale you may ask? The Branchal herd is the
only herd in the UK that can truly celebrate the society’s 100 years
as they are the only herd to have registered pedigree Black & White’s
for 100 years.
Having such a rich history of Pedigree breeding the Branchal sale should be
a must attend event during the summer. The animals that will be sold are an
unselected group of heifers that are due to calve from June onwards.
